Application process
We are delighted that you have chosen to be taught and guided by Simon Low and The Yoga Academy in our special Yin and Yang Yoga Teacher Training and Study Intensive. Our courses generally fill up quickly, so we encourage you to apply early to secure your place. This intensive course is rigorous and demanding and offers the opportunity to significantly deepen your yoga understanding, practice and potential on and off the mat. The course welcomes and is appropriate for students aspiring to be teachers, established teachers seeking to refresh and enrich their teaching skills and practice, as well as health professionals keen to broaden their expertise.
We take great care in the process of application and enrolment to our trainings. To enable us to ascertain your eligibility, please fill in the confidential application form linked below. It is essential that you answer all questions. At any point during the application process, please feel free to contact course tutor Eija Tervonen at eija@theyogaacademy.org with any questions that you may have in any area of the course. Should you wish to speak to a previous graduate, we would be very happy to connect you with a yoga practitioner who has completed this course before.
Please note that a place on the course is only secured once the deposit of THB 20,000 has been paid. Once registered, you will receive a letter confirming your enrolment and details of pre-reading requirements and course textbooks.
Early bird registration deadline: 1 October, THB 154,950 save THB 15,000
Standard registration deadline: 1 December, THB 169,950.
The course fee is fully inclusive of all tuition, course manuals, accommodation and meals.
Application requirements
Click the link below for an electronic application form for you to be filled in, but please note that you MUST also include the following 2 items via email to complete your application.
- Photo (yoga or non-yoga is fine)
- Reference letter (reference letter from your current yoga teacher or, if not possible, a personal reference from, for example, a recent or current employer, recent or current course tutor, etc.)
Please note that we cannot review your application until we have received your photo and letter of recommendation. Please email them to course tutor Eija Tervonen eija@theyogaacademy.org to complete your application.
Please complete the application form to the best of your ability. There are no right or wrong answers, so please just be honest and clear with your responses. More than anything, this will help our teaching team to get to know you and clarify your intent for yourself.
